We are looking for a Digital Communications Analyst to support the development and execution of digital communication strategies that enhance our organisation and clients’ visibility, engagement and business objectives across an evolving digital landscape.

Overview

The Digital Strategy & Communications Analyst will support the planning, implementation and optimisation of digital communication strategies for clients across multiple sectors. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, requiring someone who is analytical, digitally savvy and passionate about creating impactful communications.

Working closely with account teams, creatives and senior strategists, you will translate business objectives into effective digital initiatives, monitor performance, identify insights and contribute to continuous improvement across campaigns. 

Key Responsibilities

Digital Strategy & Planning

  • Support the development and execution of digital communication and content strategies aligned with client objectives.
  • Conduct industry, competitor and audience research to identify trends, opportunities and insights that inform strategic recommendations.
  • Keep abreast of emerging digital platforms, consumer behaviour and industry trends, recommending innovative approaches where appropriate.
  • Contribute to client presentations, strategy documents and digital recommendations.

Content & Campaign Management

  • Develop content calendars and coordinate digital content across social media, websites and other digital channels.
  • Work collaboratively with account management and creative teams to ensure digital activities align with broader communications and marketing strategies.
  • Assist in planning and executing integrated digital campaigns across owned, earned and paid channels.
  • Support SEO, social media optimisation and digital best practices to improve online visibility and engagement.

Analytics, Measurement & Optimisation

  • Monitor campaign performance using analytics tools and prepare reports highlighting key insights, performance trends and optimisation opportunities.
  • Analyse website, social media and campaign metrics to measure effectiveness against agreed KPIs.
  • Support the implementation of measurement frameworks and campaign reporting to demonstrate campaign impact and ROI.
  • Translate performance data into actionable recommendations that improve campaign effectiveness and inform future strategy.

Community & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Assist in managing digital communities by monitoring conversations, identifying engagement opportunities and escalating issues where necessary.
  • Support the identification of digital influencers, partners and relevant online communities that strengthen client visibility and engagement where required.

Collaboration & Project Delivery

  • Work closely with account management, strategy and creative teams to deliver integrated communications programmes.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality, accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Support internal knowledge sharing by contributing digital insights, trends and best practices across the agency.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in digital marketing, digital communications, social media, content strategy or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and communications strategy.
  • Experience using digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics or similar platforms.
  • Working knowledge of SEO, social media management, paid digital advertising and content marketing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and presentation tools; experience with digital management platforms is an advantage.
  • A proactive attitude, curiosity and willingness to continuously learn in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Overview

We are looking for a Marketing Communications Specialist to support the planning and execution of integrated marketing and communications initiatives that strengthen SKOT’s brand, enhance visibility and contribute to business growth.

As our Marketing Communications Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering impactful marketing activities across both internal and external channels. From content development and digital marketing to events, partnerships, speaking opportunities, award submissions and business development support, you will help drive initiatives that reinforce SKOT’s market position and support the firm’s strategic objectives.

Working closely with the Business Transformation & Strategy team and collaborating across the wider business, you will coordinate marketing campaigns, develop compelling content, support proposal and pitch development, manage key marketing projects and identify opportunities to increase brand awareness and engagement. This role is ideal for a proactive, organised and creative marketing professional who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced consultancy environment. 

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Communications

Brand Communications & Content

  • Develop engaging content that strengthens SKOT’s brand positioning across internal and external communication channels.
  • Create high-quality marketing collateral including brochures, capability statements, presentations, newsletters, case studies, thought leadership articles and promotional materials.
  • Coordinate the development and distribution of internal and external newsletters.
  • Support the execution of integrated marketing campaigns that increase brand awareness, engagement and lead generation.
  • Ensure all communications and marketing materials are aligned with SKOT’s brand identity, tone of voice and messaging framework.
  • Assist in maintaining a consistent and compelling brand presence across all communication touchpoints.

Digital Marketing & Content Support

  • Support the planning and execution of SKOT’s digital marketing activities across social media, website and email marketing platforms.
  • Develop and manage content calendars to ensure consistent and timely publishing of marketing content.
  • Work closely with the design and digital teams to produce engaging digital assets that support marketing objectives.
  • Monitor digital performance and recommend opportunities to improve engagement, reach and visibility.
  • Keep abreast of digital marketing trends and identify innovative content and platform opportunities for the firm. 

Events, Partnerships & Brand Visibility

  • Coordinate SKOT’s participation in conferences, industry events, webinars, exhibitions and networking engagements.
  • Identify and manage speaking opportunities that position SKOT’s leadership as industry experts.
  • Support the planning and execution of SKOT-hosted events, roundtables, workshops and client engagement initiatives.
  • Research, coordinate and manage strategic partnerships, sponsorships and collaboration opportunities that enhance brand visibility.
  • Maintain an annual calendar of marketing events, award deadlines and key industry opportunities.

Awards & Industry Recognition

  • Coordinate submissions for local, regional and international industry awards.
  • Gather supporting information, case studies and performance metrics required for award entries.
  • Track award opportunities and maintain a submission schedule to maximise recognition for the agency and its people.

Business Development & Transformation Support

  • Support the Business Transformation team in implementing strategic marketing initiatives that contribute to organisational growth.
  • Assist in developing compelling proposals, pitch presentations and marketing documents for prospective clients.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify new business opportunities and emerging industry trends.
  • Support the execution of lead generation and client engagement initiatives.
  • Assist with the rollout of new service offerings, campaigns and strategic business initiatives.

Marketing Operations

  • Maintain an organised repository of marketing assets, templates, credentials and corporate information.
  • Coordinate marketing timelines and ensure initiatives are delivered on schedule.
  • Prepare marketing reports highlighting campaign performance, brand visibility and key marketing activities.
  • Support other marketing, communications and business transformation initiatives as assigned.

  • Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to develop compelling content across multiple communication channels while maintaining brand consistency.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in marketing communications, brand marketing, corporate communications or a similar role, preferably within a professional services or B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing, content development, digital marketing, event coordination and brand management, with experience supporting multi-channel marketing initiatives.
  • Excellent writing, communication and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly PowerPoint and Excel), with working knowledge of digital marketing tools, social media platforms and marketing analytics tools being an advantage.
